Melissa Pugliano-Mauro joined the Department of Dermatology in 2010 as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Mohs Surgery.
Prior to joining the Department of Dermatology, Dr. Pugliano-Mauro was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Mohs Surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where she completed her residency training in Dermatology, and a Procedural Dermatology Fellowship. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology, at Washington & Jefferson College, going on to earn her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine.
Dr. Pugliano-Mauro is the Clinic Director and the Clinical Laboratory Director of UPMC St. Margaret Dermatology, as well as the Program Director for the Department of Dermatology Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She is active in Community Education and Public Health in Dermatology.
